Join Meg World Technologies as a skilled Medical Coder, contributing to accurate and efficient medical coding processes. As a vital member of our BPO team, you will analyze medical records and translate medical procedures and diagnoses into standardized codes. Your role ensures proper documentation, billing accuracy, and adherence to coding guidelines, all while contributing to the overall efficiency of healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze medical records and clinical documentation to assign accurate medical codes.
• Translate medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments into appropriate coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT).
• Ensure coding accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and obtain necessary information.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Contribute to the efficiency of healthcare billing and revenue cycle management.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in medical coding systems, such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS.
• Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate coding.
• Knowledge of healthcare guidelines and regulations related to coding practices.
• Effective communication skills for clarifying documentation with healthcare providers.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Medical Coding or related field.
• Minimum of 0.5 years of experience in medical coding.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary range of 2 – 2.5 Lakhs INR per annum, based on experience and proficiency.
